ECCC's new interest group: Women Entrepreneurs' Networking Group is a local women network for Champaign -Urbana women entrepreneurs. It helps to build a professional network for collaboration and leveraging talents across different fields. Welcome to join us to share your ideas, experiences, dreams, visions, hopes, innovation and passions about entrepreneurship. Together, we provide you with insights into tomorrow’s innovation agenda so that you can start acting on it now.
Please join us for an opportunity to meet and learn from local women business owners, entrepreneurs, and like-minded leaders in our community at our monthly networking event from 5 pm- 7pm on Tuesday February 27, 2018 at the Express Employment Professionals Office located at 1001 N. Mattis Avenue in Champaign.
Our host for this month’s networking event is Lynn Yoerk, the franchise owner of Express Employment Professionals. She and her husband Richard have led the Champaign office to #1 out of over 800 franchises. They were the first office to skip a level of Excellence in the history of the franchise system, and they won the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award in 2016.
Richard and Lynn have a combined total of 35 years of leadership experience. Together they have owned 7 Express Employment Franchises since their beginning jobs of being a staffing consultant and sales representative. They have attended workshops from great leaders such as Ken Blanchard, Dale Carnegie, and John Maxwell. Lynn is passionate about sharing her knowledge to help other businesses succeed and will be giving a short presentation at our event.
We hope you can join us on February 27th. Arrival time is at 5 p.m. with our presentation starting at 5:30 p.m. followed by networking at 6:00 p.m. As usual, feel free to invite other guests who may enjoy being a part of this group.Wine and appetizers will be provided by our hosts.
