Title: Stress: How to Combat Burnout & Enjoy Your Life
Description: Stress is a major problem in our society. Gina Johnson, Mental Health Professional, author, and speaker, will discuss the different types of stress, including eustress and distress. This workshop also addresses the 4 main areas that we can control in life: thoughts, emotions, attitudes and effort. By accepting what we cannot control and changing we can we can significantly lower our stress level. Gina's goal is to empower individuals to learn the signs and triggers of burnout and develop a self-care plan to prevent it. Bonus: Gina will be giving a copy of her book "Let's Make it a Habit: Train Your Brain to Navigate Negativity" to all the attendees!
About the Speaker: Gina Johnson has made it her life’s passion to help people manage their responses to negative life situations, negative people, and negative things.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Gina holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois and advanced certifications in trauma/loss and life/business coaching. She specializes in enhanced self-awareness, increased motivation, decreased procrastination, healthy stress management, increased self-confidence, effective communication, and interpersonal skills. In other words, she truly helps people realize their full potential for growth.
