Title: "OK, Ladies... Now Let's Get in Formation" with Holly Melby
Description: In a time when the battle for gender equality is still being sought, women need to stand strong together. We need each other in business, in motherhood, and in life. Holly will provide tangible suggestions for us all to take up an attitude like Beyonce and get in position to passionately support each other, because women empowering women is more than just a trendy hashtag. It’s a way of life. And when we fully grasp this concept, we can and will run the world.
About the Speaker: Holly Melby is a mom of three kiddos under the age of 13. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Ambrose University and a master’s degree in advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.. In a former life, she wrote copy for a marketing firm and served as a Parkland College instructor teaching advertising and public relations courses. For over a decade she managed and wrote a mommy blog before turning her writing passion toward penning books instead. She’s written a young adult fiction manuscript as well as several children’s book manuscripts. In addition to raising young people, Holly and her husband, Jeff, own a chiropractic business. They have been married for twenty-two years and know that if they can survive a pandemic together, they can get through anything.
