As a part of our club’s 40th anniversary celebrations, ECCC is organizing an evening out to watch the show – HAIRSPRAY on Monday April 18, 2022. We need to book tickets for the event early to get good seating. You may choose dinner only, show only or a combo package. There is a group discount, and we save on ticketing fees by placing a single order. Ticket sales through the ECCC board will end by Sunday night March 6, 2022. If you miss the deadline, you can certainly purchase your own tickets on the State Farm center website later.
More about HAIRSPRAY show – “You Can’t Stop the Beat!” Broadway’s Tony Award-winning musical comedy phenomenon is back on tour! Join 16-year-old Tracy Turnblad in 1960’s Baltimore as she sets out to dance her way onto TV’s most popular show. Can a girl with big dreams (and even bigger hair) change the world? Registration Options:
- All Inclusive: Dinner, Show and Parking – 5:30 pm start at Houlihan’s $80 per ticket, plus food and drink on your own (with seating at the upper 100 level). Parking with your ticket purchase is $13 per vehicle (Parking at the lot on event day is $15)
- Dinner and show combo – 5:30 pm start at Houlihan’s $67 per ticket, plus food and drink on your own (with seating at the upper 100 level)
- Dinner or drink only at the Houlihan’s – 5:30 pm, you pay for what you would like to order
- HAIRSPRAY Show only (with seating at the upper 100 level) – 7:30 pm, $67 per ticket
* Note: If you need to register for different types of options for you and your guests, the best way is to create a new registration due to the system limitation. Your guests can register themselves as well.
Dinner:
We have reservations at the Houlihan’s, 1900 S 1st St, Champaign, IL 61820. You can park at the State Farm parking lot and walk to the Houlihan’s.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols:
As part of the University of Illinois I guidelines regarding face coverings and other COVID-19 safety protocols. At this time, face coverings are required in indoor university spaces such as Krannert Center. In addition, people who are NOT fully vaccinated are required to wear a face covering outdoors when they cannot practice social distancing.
