Our speaker Carissa Nelson is a marketing and communications professional who is passionate about creating value-driven messaging that creates real and lasting impact.
A Central Illinois native, Carissa is a College of ACES graduate with a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Illinois and a M.S. in Family & Consumer Sciences from Illinois State University. She has spent the past several years pursuing digital marketing certifications from Google, Facebook, Hootsuite and more. Her favorite thing about working in communications is creating valuable connections between people and information and loves using AI as a tool to make that easier and faster.

Registration Information:
This event will be hosted in person and via Zoom. The location is at the I Hotel, 1900 South First Street, Champaign, IL 61820.
Registration for in-person members is $25.00 and includes lunch.
The registration deadline for the luncheon is Sunday, April 13, 2025. Refunds can also be issued up until this date.
Cancelation and Refunds:
If payment is not received by Sunday, April 13, 2025, or a cancellation hasn't been made, attendees are responsible for the luncheon fee. If you need to cancel your registration, please get in touch with Treasurer Shari Fox.
