Approximately 250,000 of the more than two million veterans of wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have returned home with severe and multiple disabilities, including traumatic brain injuries related to the extensive use of improvised explosive devices.
The Center for Wounded Veterans in Higher Education will support these veterans with comprehensive and integrated services as they pursue degrees at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Learn more about the Center’s planned services.
